Stairs are the most looked-at surface in the house and the hardest to get right. We mill treads, risers and nosing to match your floor exactly, whether that is a fresh install or blending into an existing finish.

Matching matters
Stairs sit at a different angle to the light than the floor around them, so a tread stained to the identical formula can still read wrong. We sample on the actual treads and adjust before committing.
Code and safety
Tread depth, riser height and nosing overhang all have to stay consistent through the run. We correct out-of-spec framing rather than covering it, because uneven risers are how people fall down stairs.
